This very important chakra reigns over our vital life force and the organs for our survival. Too many egotistic attachments can weigh heavy on Anahata and cause problems in the area.
An unbalanced heart chakra can leave us denying empathy and can create a lack of compassion for others. Thus, removing all joy from our lives, resulting in a pessimistic lifestyle. This will take a toll on relationships and may end up pushing loved ones away.
Too much compassion can leave us feeling used and depleted. We need to balance the amount of love and empathy that we give and receive.
All green crystals can help activate the heart chakra including jade, malachite and emerald. Rose quartz, although pink, is also a great crystal for the heart chakra.
