The Essential Oil Blends I’m Using for Autumn

Now that we’re in autumn, I can truly say that one of my favourite aspects of the season is the cosiness it brings. Who doesn’t love that warm and fuzzy feeling of the autumn sun? Furthermore, now that summer’s done and dusted, I’ve decided to switch up my essential oils game. For the upcoming cooler months, I’ve handpicked five blends that capture the essence of the season. With a mix of warm, woody, spicy and citrusy scents, I love having these blends as my essential oil companions for autumn.

Fun fact: did you know our scent preferences actually change with the seasons? I wrote about this topic here.

I absolutely love the invigorating scent that envelops you when you step into an Aesop store! Lucky for us, their Catherine Oil Burner Blend lets you effortlessly recreate that same ambience at home. While originally intended for burning, I’ve found it works fine in my diffuser. Whenever this gorgeous essential oil fills the air, I find myself irresistibly drawn to do creative tasks, especially on those dreary overcast autumn days.

Autumn by Karma Living

Aptly named for the season, the first thing that captures my senses in Autumn by Karma Living are the refreshing notes of lemongrass and lemon myrtle. In addition, it immediately evokes memories of honey and lemon cough drops, bringing a sense of comfort and rejuvenation. I find this light scent especially helpful for when I need to concentrate on studying. Not to mention after indulging in woody scents for some time. This autumn blend offers a refreshing and uplifting change of pace.

Additionally, the blend creates an immersive experience, and it feels as if I’m right in the heart of the forest.
